At Stonehill Christian Academy, we follow a diverse and faith-centered curriculum, including Creation Kids, Kindergarten Stepping Stones, Big Ideas Learning, Pathways 2.0, and ByDesign. These programs are designed to support academic and spiritual development. For more details on each curriculum, please visit our Curriculum page.

Do students bring their own lunches?

L
K

Students bring their own lunches and have access to a microwave for warm-ups. Please don’t send frozen food as it takes too long in the microwave. We are a nut-free campus and students may not bring any food items containing any kind of nuts.

How do you manage multi-grade classrooms?

L
K

Students rotate through teacher instruction and classwork time, according to grade.

How can multi-grade classrooms benefit my child?

L
K

Your child will be exposed to more advanced learning by being in the same classroom with higher grades, and they may be able to cement their own knowledge by helping students in lower grades. Students are challenged to expand their knowledge beyond their grade level in subjects where they excel. SCA students consistently have above average scores on the standardized tests (MAP growth), and teachers use this information to target learning in areas where students need more instruction.

How do I register my child to attend SCA?

L
K

Previously enrolled students need to pay the $200 registration fee by July 31 and submit the Tuition Policy form (pages 7 and 8). New students need to pay the $200 registration fee by July 31 and submit the child’s birth certificate with the General Information form and Tuition Policy form. For both previously enrolled and new students, the rest of the registration packet is due before the student’s first day of attendance. A late registration fee of $400 applies when paid after July 31. You can get the registration packet from the school office or the SCA Registration page.

What forms of payment do you accept?

L
K

Registration fees may be paid by cash, check, credit card, or online via AdventistSchoolPay. Uniforms may be paid by cash, check, or credit card when you pick them up at the school office. Tuition must be paid online using FACTS Tuition Management.
